In their final resting places in the historic abd serene Columbarium, people showcase their personalities and past lives.

Cirque du Soleil is offering a big ticket discount for a limited time on TOTEM, which is coming to San Jose on March 2 through April 1, 2012.

Starting on Wednesday, Feb. 1, at 9:01 pm (Pacific Time) until Saturday, Feb. 4, at 8:59 pm, tickets for TOTEM are buy one, get one free. The offer (and the link) is operative only during those 72 hours, and you must first sign up for "Cirque Club" membership (which is free). Some restrictions may apply, and service and delivery fees are extra.

TOTEM by Cirque du Soleil March 2-April 1, 2012, at Taylor Street Bridge, San Jose Tickets: $28.50 and up Performance lasts 2.5 hours, including a 30-minute intermission.

This Sunday at 3:30 pm, most of the city will be staring at big screens in bars and friends living rooms, beers in hand and nachos within reach. Since our beloved San Francisco 49ers fumbled, though, many others in San Francisco no longer care about the Super Bowl. Cmon, New York Giants and the New England Patriots?! How East-Coast-colonial can you get?

For these folks--who might watch only for the ads and Madonna at half-time--theres Super Bowl XLVI - Men In Tights.
